"DO NOT SELL" INVASIVE SPECIES LIST UPDATE


Legislation has been passed that impacts our industry. Please take time to familiarize yourself with the plants on this list. This is the “Do Not Sell –Invasive Species Plant List” is has been issued to us from the Suffolk County Department of Consumer Affairs. It is now considered unlawful to “collect, transport, sell, distribute, propagate, transport and transplant” the following plants. Doing so can incur stiff fines and penalties, including imprisonment. This new law also applies to Nassau County. If you need further information please call your local county agency.
